ANO “Transport Directorate-2018” prolonged recruitment of temporary staff to April 15
ANO “Transport Directorate of FIFA World Cup Russia 2018” prolonged the period for acceptance of applications from temporary staff to April 15. Temporary staff would assist as required Russian and foreign fans of 2018 FIFA World Cup at railway stations of host cities. Over 1,300 applications have already been submitted via staff.transport2018.com.
Moscow is leading in the number of applications with about 460 applications submitted to serve 6 central train stations, St. Petersburg goes second with over 200 applications submitted, and Sochi goes third with 155 applications. Over 1,300 applications to 960 job vacancies have been accepted in total.
Employees’ duties would include coordination and informing sports fans on free transportation at 19 railway stations in 11 host cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, and Volgograd. The work period is from June 12, 2018 to July 17, 2018. The entire staff would be provided with a set of uniforms and free meals during the shifts.
“Many candidates at the stage of initial selection demonstrate good communicative skills and knowledge of foreign languages which are the key skills required. Upon completion of the initial selection, we plan to launch employees training across all 11 cities,” commented Kirill Polyakov, General Director of ANO “Transport Directorate-2018”.
Any Russian citizen over 18 years old can become part of the team of the organizers of the 2018 World Cup with knowledge of one of the following foreign languages: English, French, German or Spanish. Applications are accepted at https://staff.transport2018.com/.
