More than 15,000 fans will travel by free trains to the 2018 FIFA World Cup third place match that will be held in Saint Petersburg on July 14th. 21 trains, including 12 double-decker trains and 1 Sapsan train, will provide free transport for fans and FIFA-accredited media representatives during the period from July 11 to July 15.
From June 13 to July 10 of the 2018, about 57,000 passengers took free trains to Kazan and back. This Host City welcomed 4 group stage matches and 2 playoff matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Fans from 122 different countries traveled to the capital of Tatarstan on free trains.
20 free trains will transport around 12,500 fans to Moscow and back for the second semi-final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Trains will arrive at 3 railway stations in Moscow from Saint Petersburg, Samara, Kazan and Sochi, with intermediate stops in Tver, Ruzaevka, Tuapse, Rostov Glavnij, and Krasnodar.
24 free trains will transfer about 16,000 fans to Saint Petersburg and back for the first semi-final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. The trains arrive to 3 Saint Petersburg’s railway stations from Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow.
34 free trains will carry fans to Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod and back to two quarterfinal matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. 6 Lastochka trains, 4 double-decker and 24 single-deck trains will carry about 20,000 fans.
